Our lab is dedicated to describing the cognitive and neural processes that underlay mental health disorders. We mainly focus on decision-making and value-based learning processes and their relationship to clinical disorders. The lab is comprised of both neuroscience researchers and clinical psychology practitioners, allowing a tight and rich relationship between theoretical and practical aspects of learning and decision-making.
Our goals include:
- Developing computational models to explore the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying inattention, impulsive and compulsive behavior in children and adults.
- Testing novel treatments and developing new classifications and objective measurements for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
